Engagement

Assess, design, install, support.

ArmMate is hired to put a working cell on your floor. The arm brand is chosen in the assessment. The schedule below is a planning guide. The quote sets the real dates.

  1. 01

    Assess

Typical range: 1 to 2 weeks

A site visit covers clearances, the real cycle, and whether a cobot belongs there. You get a go or no-go, not a catalog pitch.

    What you provide

Floor access, a live look at the rush or the job, and the constraints you already know: oil, door swing, ceiling height, and utilities.

    Who signs off on safety

ArmMate writes the first hazard notes. You confirm the real cycle and who may enter the area.

  2. 02

    Design

Typical range: 2 to 4 weeks

We specify mounting, the tool on the wrist, guarding, and a cycle-time estimate you can compare with today's labor. The quote comes from this design.

    What you provide

The fryer or machine model, a mounting preference (pedestal or ceiling), and the production window the install has to protect.

    Who signs off on safety

ArmMate owns the risk assessment draft per ANSI/RIA R15.06 and ISO 10218. You approve the layout before build.

  3. 03

    Install and program

Typical range: 1 to 3 weeks on site

Mechanical install, integration, programming, a safety check, and training for the people who will own the station after we leave.

    What you provide

A lead operator, a downtime window, and product or parts for runoff.

    Who signs off on safety

ArmMate owns the safety check, documented e-stop and lockout steps, and operator training. You sign the site acceptance test before handover.

  4. 04

    Support

Ongoing, under the plan you choose

Remote support, preventive maintenance, and on-site visits. The plan is attached to the cell we installed.

    What you provide

A named contact, and a way for us to reach the cell.

    Who signs off on safety

You own daily lockout on your floor. ArmMate owns the response defined in the plan.

Ranges are planning guides from similar cells. A frying retrofit and a CNC tending job do not take the same number of days. The assessment is where that gets specific.

Safety and acceptance

Each cell ships with a station risk assessment per ANSI/RIA R15.06 and ISO 10218, collaborative-operation validation per ISO/TS 15066 where applicable, documented e-stop and lockout/tagout procedures, and operator training. Every install includes a site acceptance test against the cycle defined in your proposal before handover.

Start with the assessment.

Bring the station, the shift pattern, and the constraint you already feel. We will tell you if a cell is the right next step.
